Government of Japan-Educational Scholarships

Scholarship applications are invited from interested Kenyans wishing to study at Japanese Graduate Schools, Universities, Colleges of Technology and Specialized Training Colleges for the financial year 2011 (April 2011). The scholarships being offered by the  Japanese Government  are  lucrative and cover the following items:-

• Tuition fees,
• Air fare
• A modest living allowance/stipend

The Deadline for local applications is 5 P.M, Friday 14 of May, 2010 .The scholarships are very competitive and applicants are required to have attained the following minimum qualifications:

For Scholarships to study for Masters or Doctoral degrees or post-graduate research in Japanese graduate institutions. one must be 
(a) Kenyan born on or after April 2, 1976
(b) Holder of a Bachelor’s degree (first class) or a Master’s degree.

For Undergraduate Courses  for KCSE applicants interested in pursuing undergraduate courses in Japan.
(a) Kenyan  born between April 2, 1989 and April 1, 1994
(b) KCSE Mean Grade “A Plain” and with grades “A Plain” in at least 5 subjects which must include English, Kiswahili and Mathematics.
