There are some interesting websites online that i dont mind sharing, interesting scoops! I have just landed on celebrity personality/movie star Gwyneth Kate Paltrow's GOOP.COM website where she is sharing some of the awesome information that she has acquired due to her stature in society.

The site has a pleasant interface, simple but elegant. But what perhaps interests me is that i can download some of her favourite yet simple recipes. The website mantra is "get the scoop from goop" For a celebrity personality i find Goop.com to be a cut above the rest and i hope her perfomance in the new Iron Man 2 Heatwave Celebrity Cruise
movie will be similarly pleasant!

NBA'S Randy Smith Passes Away !

Former American Professional NBA basketball player Randy Smith died yesterday Night .Randy Smith was one of the most popular players for the Buffalo Braves and immensely contributed to the development of the sport within the region. Smith suffered a heart attack while training on his tread mill. He was at the time of his death 60 years of age.Among the teams he had played for include:

• San Diego Clippers (1978)
• Cleveland Cavaliers(1979)
• New york Knicks(1981)
• Atlanta Hawks
  

Smith’s is perhaps most well remembered for his startling performance in the 1978 All Stars game where he was named the game's (MVP)Most Valuable Player.A more co incisive report on his illustrious career can be found at buffalo news link.

Obama's Cairo Speech to Muslim World !

I am just from watching a live feed of American President Barack Obama's cairo Speech(at the Grand Hall of Cairo University) to the muslim world and can say without doubt he is gifted. He has just given analogy between the black slavery struggles and that non violent means is what led to the emancipation of black Americans ,(his case being a proof of achievable change)and not violent struggle. He has acknowledged that both Palestine and Israel have legitimate concerns but violence is not the solution but constructive engagement.

President Obama's speech to the Muslim World is aimed at building a coalition of Muslim governments that will back his efforts to revive stalled Middle East peace talks and help curb Iran's nuclear program.
In it he states " I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings"


President Obama speaks authoritatively and impressively.His demeanour reeks of certainty and good will, unfortunately achieving world peace may be beyond him no matter his intentions!
