Former American 
Professional NBA basketball player Randy Smith died yesterday Night  .Randy Smith was one of the most popular players for the Buffalo Braves and immensely contributed to the development of the sport within the region. Smith suffered a heart attack while training on his tread mill. He was at the time of his death 60 years of age.Among the teams he had played for include:
- San Diego Clippers (1978)
- Cleveland Cavaliers(1979)
- New york Knicks(1981)
- Atlanta Hawks
 
Smith’s  is perhaps most well remembered for his startling 
performance in the 1978 All Stars game where he was named the game's (MVP)Most Valuable Player.A more
